The number of Greene County residents testing positive for Covid-19 continues to increase and is still HIGH, according to Greene County public health director Becky Wolf. She said the increase is part of a trend spreading west across Iowa.
She asked county residents to consider the following recommendations to bring the Covid transmission level in the county back to LOW:
1) Get vaccinated and/or boosted. Call Greene County public health at 515-386-3228 or sign up online at https://hipaa.jotform.com/build/203558336058156 to schedule an appointment
2) Consider wearing a mask when inside with large groups of people
3) Stay home if you are sick
4) Practice good hand hygiene 50 percent more often than usual
5) Get tested; if positive, STAY HOME and ISOLATE from others, referring to the CDC Quarantine and Isolation Calculator for more information
